Graphic designer Piet Schreuders asked me to design the logo for a new edition of ‘De Poezenkrant’ (‘cats’newspaper). De poezenkrant has 1,500 faithful subscribers and is also sold in selected bookstores in Holland and Belgium.

Because of this edition’s theme (World War II) the logo should resemble the logo of ‘De Telegraaf’ (a dutch newspaper) as it was used during the 40s. Piet handed me an old image to work from. Obviously there were missing some letters, like the P, o, z, n, k and t, so I had to reconstruct them.
