It means quality never goes out of fashion. That’s why I focus in my design on simplicity and beauty. The more you know, the less you need.
I am dedicated to my 26 Best Friends who always inspire me, whatever their appearance. For me, it is a life-time commitment to handle them in a way they deserve, with recognition of their exceptional beauty and sterling power.
2015 – 2016Teacher Type at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague
2007 – 2015 Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam It started with teaching typography to a small group of students for a few hours a week. Soon this became a full time position: Head of the Graphic Design Department, assessor, member of the admission board, guiding internships, managing projects, and developing curricula.
